Dr. Tony Watt is an Anatomical Pathologist who graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland in 1992. After beginning his medical career with training in General Surgery, he transitioned to Anatomical Pathology, where he gained invaluable experience in both public and private laboratories, primarily at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Queensland. In 2003, Dr. Watt achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.
Passionate about the integration of new technologies in Histopathology, Dr. Watt is particularly interested in digital pathology and its ability to enhance diagnostic precision and workflow efficiency. With a specialised focus on Gastrointestinal Pathology, Dr. Watt has served as treasurer for the local Gastroenterological Society and has been dedicated to this area of expertise since his senior registrar year.
